The EFSPC aims to foster a culture of excellence and camaraderie within our community. Our Champion titles are intended to recognize the exceptional dedication, and the culmination of hard work and passion for our breed.
Whether your Shar Pei is a rising star in the Junior category, a seasoned competitor vying for the Champion title, or a distinguished elder competing in the Veteran class, our Champion titles aim to offer recognition of excellence at every stage of your Shar Pei’s show career.
Furthermore, we offer two versions of each title – Standard and Gold. The Gold version is reserved for genetically tested dogs, highlighting our commitment to promoting health and well-being within the breed.
The Champion titles are designed to honor outstanding achievements, and can be fulfilled by winning CC’s at EFSPC shows. Upcoming shows are found in our show calendar.
Titles of the EFSPC Championship:
CC EFSPC junior – May be awarded to dogs and bitches graded as Excellent 1 (JCAC, if awarded at the show) in the junior class.
CC EFSPC – May be awarded to 1 dog and 1 bitch graded Excellent 1 (CAC, if awarded at the show) from intermediate, open, or champion class.
Reserve CC EFSPC – May be awarded to 1 dog and 1 bitch graded as Excellent 1 (CAC if awarded at the show) in a different class from the CC EFSPC, in intermediate, open, or champion class; OR to 1 dog and 1 bitch graded as Excellent 2 (R.CAC if awarded at the show) in intermediate, open, or champion class from the same class as the CC EFSPC winner.
CC EFSPC Veteran – Males and bitches received Excellent 1 in the veteran class.
BOB – Best of breed – Awarded to the best dog or bitch from CC EFSPC juniors, CC EFSPC, CC EFSPC Veterans (In case all titles awarded, 6 dogs in the ring for this competition).
BOS – Best of Opposite Sex
Requirements for achieving the EFSPC Champion titles:
EFSPC Junior Champion
1 x CC EFSPC Junior + Junior Champion of FCI country
EFSPC Champion
2 x CC EFSPC + Champion of FCI country
(2 x Reserve CC EFSPC can be used to replace only 1 CC)
EFSPC Veteran Champion
1 x CC EFSPC Veteran + Veteran Champion of FCI country
Each of the Champion titles is available in Standard and Gold version.
To be awarded the Gold version, in addition to the above outlined requirements, the test results for POAG/PLL and SPAID (all results from all laboratories are accepted) need to be presented as part of the application.
